Applications for the Daily Trust Foundation Female Medical Students Scholarship in Nigeria for the 2022/23 academic session are currently open.
The foundation is a non-profit organization involved in diverse social and support activities. They include capacity building for journalists, scholarships to enhance girl-child education, support for orphanages, provision of materials to cushion the plight of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the North East, provision of water to poverty-stricken rural communities, medical outreaches, and gifts in kind to vulnerable and disaster-affected communities.
This scholarship is in line with one of its aims and objectives which is to establish a scholarship scheme for brilliant and indigent students in higher institutions in Nigeria.

female medical and nursing students will receive scholarships to support their studies.
Eligibility
To qualify for the scholarship award, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- Female
- Nigerian
- Medical student (MBBS)
- Bachelor of Nursing (BSc Nursing)
- Must be in 200L
- Must have passed 100L exams
You must be a student of
- Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto state
- University of Ilorin, Kwara state
- University of Maiduguri, Borno state
How to Apply
- Interested candidates who meet the above requirements are to collect application forms from the University College Secretary’s Office or Media Trust Office in their states or download the form online from www.dailytrustfoundation.org
- They are expected to fill appropriately and attach passport, photocopies of Admission letter, ID Card, Certificate of Origin, and Course Registration Form for the current academic session.
