RMIT University invites applications for the PhD Scholarship in Applications of Thermal Imaging and AI for Chronic Wound Detection in Australia for the 2023/24 academic year.
As a student who loves people and Digital Health, you will be co-supervised by a biomedical engineer, endocrinologist, and podiatrist, and work closely with diabetic foot clinics. You will work with clinicians to record thermal images of the feet of their patients. With biomedical engineers, you model the data for an AI system that can detect the wounds likely to have delayed healing.
Worth of Award
The scholarship is worth $32, 841.00 (PA) for 3.5 years.
