Harvard University invites applications for the Aspire Leaders Program for underserved Students for the 2023/24 academic session.
Aspire Institute’s mission is to transform the lives of young adults worldwide who are currently underserved through a fully funded leadership development program that catalyzes the leaders of tomorrow to make a positive impact in their communities. Candidates for the program receive a host of academic and professional development resources through a tiered application structure that reaches thousands of students globally.
Worth of Award
Through the program, students will:
- Gain access to fully-funded HarvardX courses and leadership development tools.
- Participate in live seminars with Harvard and world-class faculty.
- Exchange ideas in a virtual classroom with a global community of peers.
Eligibility
This program is for students who are from backgrounds of social and financial adversity. All applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be
- 18-26 years old
- from low-income backgrounds
- the first-generation to attend university (parent(s) and/or primary caregiver(s) did not complete a bachelor’s level degree)
- enrolled in an undergraduate program or recently graduated (within three years)
OR
- Education impacted by a natural disaster and/or armed conflict (i.e. refugees or displaced persons)
How to Apply
While fluency in English is required, shortlisted candidates will only need to demonstrate fluency during the application process.
