RMIT University invites applications for the RMIT and Australian Centre for Accelerating Diabetes Innovation PhD Scholarship for the 2023/24 academic year.
Over 30% of diabetes foot ulcers do not heal in time leading to high cost and morbidity. Earlier studies used thermal imaging to detect delayed healing ulcers. The PhD project will further this for detecting unhealing diabetic foot ulcers.
In view of this, the candidate will work within a multidisciplinary, multi-university team and may have the background in science, engineering or healthcare disciplines.
Worth of Award
The scholarship is worth $32,841 per annum for 3.5 years
Eligibility
- H1 in Engineering, science or health.
