The University of Auckland invites applications for the International Student Excellence Scholarship in New Zealand for the 2022/23 Academic session.
The main purpose of the Scholarship is to attract new international students of high calibre to enroll in an undergraduate or postgraduate taught study for one year or more at Waipapa Taumata Rau.
Worth of Award
A scholarship for new International undergraduate and postgraduate students, is worth up to $10,000 towards compulsory tuition fees.
Eligibility
To be eligible for Scholarship consideration, an applicant must be
- an international student,
- either a new student who has received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission, or an English Language Academy (ELA) student who has received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission, and
- enrolled, or enrolling, full-time in either a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) or masters degree of 120 points or more, excluding masters by thesis, or an undergraduate degree (applying with overseas secondary or post-secondary qualifications) at Waipapa Taumaa Rau.
The basis of selection will be academic merit (see Note V), the quality of the letter of application and endorsement by
the applicant’s referee.
