Skilled Trades College invites applications for the Scottie Barnes Scholarship for BIPOC in Canada for the 2022/23 academic session.
With trades scholarships, you not only will you learn from skilled and experienced tradespeople, you’ll also benefit from a network of industry connections. These can lead to apprenticeships and jobs.
Worth of Award
This year, Scottie will kick off by choosing 4 students for a full-ride scholarship valued at $20,000.
Winners chosen by Scottie will be able to enroll in any of the Skilled Trades College’s campuses across the GTA. This will be for electrical, plumbing, data and smart home wiring, and home renovation.
Eligibility
- Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Completed High School or equivalent
- Age 18-30
- Identify as a visible minority (BlPOC)
