The University of Manchester invites applications for the Global Development Institute Master’s Bursary in the UK for the 2022/23 academic year.

As a master’s student at Manchester, you’ll get access to excellent teaching and the very best learning environments. This is because among other things, it is recognized as a global powerhouse of research, with 93% of the University’s research activity assessed as ‘world-leading’ or ‘internationally excellent.’

Worth of Award

The scholarship provides £10,000 reduction in tuition fees.



All self-sponsored EU/international applicants with an offer of a place to study on one of the Global Development Institute (GDI) master’s courses are eligible from the following countries:

There is no bursary application process, if you are eligible you will be automatically considered.
