The School are offering fees bursaries, up to the maximum of home / EU fee rates for 2014-15, (currently £5,500 for 2013-14) for applicants to the following postgraduate degree programmes:

Sociology
- MA Sociology and Social Research
Eligibility
- To be eligible for a full fees bursary for one of the above MA degrees, there will be an expectation of intention to progress to studies at PhD level and submission of an application to ESRC North East Doctoral Training Centre, AHRC Northern Bridge Doctoral Training Partnership or NERC IAPETUS Doctoral Training Partnership.
- • You must have or expect to achieve a minimum of an upper-second-class honours degree in a related subject and have the intention to apply for a PhD.
