ATA Scientific Pty Ltd. invites applications for the ATA Scientific Awards for Young Scientists in Australia in 2022.

The University of Western Australia School of Molecular Sciences is planning to summarize and promote the recent work-related achievements (professional and academic) of their tremendous female colleagues highlighting the gender bias in STEM joining the #BreakTheBias campaign to celebrate International Women’s Day. This has inspired a special ‘Women in STEM’ travel grant from ATA Scientific.

Worth of Award

First prize winner will receive the $1,500 award and two runner up winners will receive $600 each.



This award is open to young scientists.

How to Apply 

  • Simply send your answer to the question, “When we #BreakTheBias, what will a viable academic career path look like?” in 500 words or less
  • for your chance to win.
  • Each participant can submit only one entry which will be judged for originality and overall humour.

Deadline: Entries for the ATA Scientific Awards for Young Scientists close March 31, 2022.
