Mälardalen University invites applications for the Mälardalen University Scholarship Programme for International Students in Sweden for the 2021/2022 academic year.
At Mälardalen University, students enjoy a large measure of independence and are expected to do a substantial amount of work on their own initiative. This approach is demanding and you must be prepared to take a good deal of responsibility for your own studies. In return, you develop for example your planning skills, and your ability to determine which parts of all the knowledge that is most essential.
Worth of Award
The scholarship will cover 100% of the tuition fee of the programme as long as you follow the normal study plan (minimum 22.5 credits/semester, minimum 45 credits/academic year).
Very Important
- The scholarship does not cover living expenses.
- If your status from being a fee-paying student to a non-paying student is changed during the study period of the programme you will no longer be granted the scholarship.
Eligibility
- The scholarship is aimed at especially qualified students coming from countries outside of EU/EEA/Switzerland and who are required to pay tuition fees.
- The scholarship is NOT open for students from the twelve countries with which Sweden has long-term development cooperation (Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia).
- Students from these countries should instead apply for the Swedish Institute Study Scholarship, www.studyinsweden.se
How to Apply
All applications should be made online via the official website.
Deadline: The application deadline for the Mälardalen University Scholarship Programme is January 17, 2021.
