The University of Sydney invites applications for the John Arthur Freeman PhD Scholarship for Tumours of the Brain in Australia for the 2023/24 academic year.
A unique opportunity is available for an outstanding PhD scholar at the Sydney Medical School at the University of Sydney to conduct research into the causes, early diagnosis, and treatment of tumours of the brain.
Worth of Award
The scholarship will provide an annual stipend allowance of $35,000 per annum for up to four years, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
Eligibility
You must:
- have an unconditional offer of admission or are currently enrolled in a PhD at the Sydney Medical School.
- apply for a Research Training Program (RTP) stipend scholarship.
- conduct research into the causes, early diagnosis, and treatment of tumours of the brain.
- also hold an honours degree (first-class or second-class upper) or a master’s degree in a related field with a substantial research component, or equivalent.
