The University of Kent is offering 100 doctoral scholarships in preparation for its 50th anniversary in 2015. The additional 100 doctoral scholarships will be awarded annually. Known as Kent’s 50th Anniversary Scholars, successful candidates will demonstrate academic excellence and outstanding research potential.
The scholarship competition is open to all postgraduate research applicants. UK, EU and overseas fee paying students are invited to apply. Scholarships will be offered at the standard UK Research Councils’ rate.
Worth of Award: PhD scholarships offered at the standard UK Research Councils rate (was £13,726 in 2013).
Eligibility
- Candidates must hold a good Honours degree (First or 2i) or a Master’s degree at merit or distinction in a relevant subject or equivalent
- The scholarship competition is open to all postgraduate research applicants. UK, EU and overseas fee paying students are invited to apply.
