The University of Maine in the USA is calling for applications for the Maine Global Partnership Scholarship for undergraduate studies in the 2022/2023 academic year.

The Maine Global Partnership Scholarship is not renewed automatically each year. Students must maintain full-time enrollment and a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 2.00 in order for the scholarship to be renewed.  Additionally, the award is for a maximum of 8 semesters (4 academic years) for a student entering as a first-year applicant. Recipients of the award must also remain on a non-immigrant student visa F-1 or J-1 to be eligible to hold the scholarship

Worth of Award

  • International students graduating from Maine high schools and applying to the University of Maine qualify for this scholarship valued up to US$12,000 per academic year.
  • Awards are typically made along with an offer of admission to the University of Maine.


  • International students graduating from high schools in the state of Maine with a high school CGPA of 3.0 and above
  • This award is not open to international transfer students.
  •  Graduate students are not eligible for this award.
  • Sponsored students are not eligible for this award.
