Copenhagen Business School in Denmark is inviting applications for the PhD in Innovative City Solutions for International Students in 2020.
Today, cities are struggling with economic, social and environmental challenges, including outdated infrastructure, deprived neighborhoods, and air pollution. However, conventional governance and finance mechanisms are often inadequate to address these challenges. Even when they know the solutions, they do not know how to deliver them. As an example, a report from Realdania concludes that 60 percent of Danish municipalities lack the know-how on how to finance green projects.
However, Copenhagen Business School has a broad commitment to the excellence, distinctiveness, and relevance of its teaching and research Programmes. Also, candidates who wish to join us should demonstrate enthusiasm for working in an organization of this type (highlighting, for example, relevant business, educational and dissemination activities).
