Graduate Teaching and Research Assistantships applications are welcomed from outstanding UK/EU or international applicants wishing to commence full or part time study for a doctorate as well as from those already undertaking doctoral study at the University of Sussex, UK. It is a condition of application that GTRAs will be registered as doctoral students within the School of Education and Social Work
The studentship is to commence in 19th September 2013 and it for one, two or three years.
Worth of studentship
- Studentships cover the value of UK/EU tuition fees for up to three years, plus a bursary currently worth £7000 per annum.
- Successful applicants will contribute either 5.5 hours per week (throughout the year) or 8 hours per week (term time only), towards research, teaching, e-learning, research dissemination and related activities, as negotiated with the relevant Research Centre or Cluster Director.
- GTA/GRAs will be attached to one of the following research centres or cluster located within the School of Education and Social Work.
