There are Universities in countries in Europe that offer a range of scholarships to masters students. These scholarships are available to Africans and below is the list of fully-funded scholarships with their different deadlines and information on how to apply.We’ll keep updating the list.

1.VlIR-UOS ICP International Masters Scholarship Programme in Belgium 2020

VlIR-UOS in Belgium is inviting applications for the International Masters Scholarship Programme for the 2020/2021 academic session. Worth of Award: They only provide scholarships for the full duration of the master Programme. It is not possible to apply for a partial scholarship. The detailed current amounts and more information on the different allowances can be found in the document ‘Allowances and guidelines for VLIR-UOS scholarships’. 2. OKP Scholarships for Masters Students at TU Eindhoven in the Netherlands 2020

The Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands invites applications for the Orange Knowledge Programme for Masters in 2020. Worth of Award: The OKP scholarship is meant as a contribution towards cost of living, international travel, tuition fee, visas, health insurance and thesis research. 3. DAAD Development-Related Postgraduate Courses Scholarship in Germany 2020

DAAD in Germany invites applications for the Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) for the 2020/21 academic session. Worth of Award: Depending on academic level, monthly payments of 850 euros for graduates or 1,200 euros for doctoral candidates, Payments towards health, accident and personal liability insurance cover, Travel allowance, unless these expenses are covered by the home country or another source of funding. 4. Food Agility CRC-HDR Scholarships for Masters and PhD Students in Australia 2020

Food Agility is offering various scholarships to Postgraduate students who participate in the Food Agility research program at partner universities in Australia. Worth of Award: Full Scholarship HDR stipends are $35,000 and up to $10,000 operating (non-salary) budget per annum. Top -up Scholarship stipends are $10,000 and up to $5,000 operating (non-salary) budget per annum. Deadline: Applications are open on an ongoing basis. Click here for more details and to apply

5. AIMS Master Scholarship for Advanced Materials in Europe 2020

The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) is inviting applications for the Master’s Programme in Advanced Materials for Innovation and Sustainability scholarships in 2020. Worth of Award: Added Value Student Activities grant (AVSA grant): this grant of €13,500 is additionally awarded to all students enrolled in a EIT RawMaterials, EIT-labelled programme. 6.Danish Government Scholarship in University of Southern Denmark 2020

The University of Southern Denmark (SDU) is offering the Danish Government Scholarship for masters programs starting in 2020. Worth of Award: The scholarship consists of two parts: full tuition fee waiver and a grant, to help cover living costs amounting to DKK 6090 per month before taxes. Deadline: June 15. 7. EIT Digital’s Master Programmes Scholarship at EIT Digital Master School in Europe 2020

The EIT Digital Master School in Europe is inviting applications for the EIT Digital’s Master Programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session. Worth of Award: Scholarships are offered to top candidates, including tuition fee waivers and monthly living allowances. 8. ALA Erasmus Mundus Scholarship for International Students in Europe 2020

Erasmus Mundus is inviting applications for the Architecture Landscape Archaeology(ALA) Erasmus joint Postgraduate Programme for International Students in Europe 2020. Worth of Award: Participation costs: 4,500 euros per year, Contribution to travel and installation costs: 1,000 EUR per year, Contribution to subsistence costs: 1,000 EUR per month for the entire duration of the ALA programme (24 months maximum). 9. Lutfia Rabbani Foundation Scholarship for Masters Students in the Netherlands 2020

Leiden University Fund is inviting applications for the Lutfia Rabbani Foundation Scholarship for Masters Students in the Netherlands for the 2020/2021 academic session. 10.EUSP 1-year Scholarship Programme in Clinical Eurology in Europe 2020

The European Association of Urology invites applications for a year-long programme in leading European research institutions to suitably qualified candidates in Europe, 2020. 11.Masters in High-Performance Computing Scholarship for Developing Countries in Italy 2020

ICTP and the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Italy invite applications for the Masters in High-Performance Computing Scholarships open to applicants from developing countries for 2020/2021 academic session. Worth of Award: ICTP offers fellowships to candidates coming from Developing Countries: it covers the MHPC tuition fee, cost-of-living expenses and a return ticket from the origin country. 12.Fully Funded Masters Programme in Medical Physics at University of Trieste in Italy 2020

The International Centre for Theoretical Physics and University of Trieste in Italy invites applications for scholarships in a Master’s Programme in Medical Physics in the 2020/21 academic year. 15. Helmut Veith Stipend for Female Masters Students in Computer Science in Austria 2020

TU Wien and the Wolfgang Pauli Institute in Austria is offering the Helmut Veith Stipend for Female Master´s Students in 2020/21 session. The Helmut Veith Stipend is awarded annually to outstanding female students in the field of computer science who pursue (or plan to pursue) one of the master’s programs in Computer Science at TU Wien taught in English. Worth of Award: Students who are awarded a scholarship receive EUR 6000 annually (paid in instalments), and tuition fees are waived.
