The Association of Global Universities (AGU) in Russia is inviting applications for the Open Doors Russian Scholarship Project awarded based on a competition (Olympiad) to enrol in the master’s program in 2019.

The Olympiad is organized by The Association of Global Universities, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudichestvo).

The Open Doors Academic Competition (Olympiad) is an international project that grants you an opportunity to enrol in a tuition-free Master’s programme at one of the leading universities in Russia. The competition winners and prize-winners will be able to enrol in the Master’s programme using a single window system, choosing any of 500 Russian universities, including 21 leading universities-participants of the 5-100 Project.

The language of instruction is English or Russian depending on the chosen Master’s programme and the university.The competition is held online in two rounds: a portfolio competition followed by a problem-solving round. Participation is open to graduates with a Bachelor or a Specialist degree from any university in the world (except Russian).

Worth of Award

  • Your tuition fee will be paid by the Russian Federation.
  • You will only have to cover your travel and accommodation costs, insurance and personal expenses.

Eligibility

  • The competition is open to foreigners and stateless persons, including compatriots living abroad, having a degree or completing a degree programme not lower than Bachelor level in the year of the Olympiad.
  • All participants are expected to consent to the processing of personal data.
  • The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad, having a degree or completing a degree
    programme not lower than Bachelor level in the year of the Olympiad are eligible to enrol in one of the Master’s programmes covered by the Olympiad subject areas without paying a tuition fee.

How to Apply

  • Prepare your portfolio. All research papers, certificates, awards and honours that you have ever received are of value. Please include all achievements in the selected subject area in your portfolio to increase your chances of success.
