Marquette University in the USA is currently accepting applications for the Trinity Fellows Programme for graduate students in 2019.
The Trinity Fellows Program is a graduate fellowship program dedicated to developing urban leaders with a commitment to social and economic justice. The Program of Marquette University was created in keeping with an ideal central to the university’s mission – the promotion of justice and faith through service – to develop urban leaders with a commitment to social and economic justice.
The program is intended for committed individuals who care about the well-being of others, about issues of social and economic justice, and who wish to acquire experience in the urban nonprofit sector while studying for two years toward a Master’s degree. Fellows participate in a 21-month study/work program while earning a master’s degree in one of the following fields of study:
- Business Administration, M.B.A
- Civil and Environmental Engineering, M.S
- Communication, M.A.
- Corporate Communication, M.A.
- Economics, M.S.
- Educational Policy and Leadership, M.A.
- Trinity-EDPL fellowship is limited to M.A. in Educational Policy and Foundations
- English, M.A.
- History, M.A.
- Human Resources, M.S.
- International Affairs, M.A.
- Philosophy, M.A.
- Trinity-Philosophy fellowship is limited to M.A. in Social & Applied Philosophy
- Political Science, M.A.
- Public Service, M.A.
- Specializations in Healthcare Administration and Nonprofit Sector
- Spanish, M.A.
- Theology, M.A.
- Trinity-Theology fellowship is limited to the M.A. in Theology.

Worth of Award
Up to 15 fellowships will be awarded for the upcoming term. Each fellowship includes:
- Full-tuition scholarship
- Monthly stipend to purchase books, health insurance, and support living expenses
- Funds for professional development
- A cohort of up to 15 passionate, motivated Fellows
- Access to many additional benefits and perks throughout Milwaukee
- Each fellow will contribute a participation fee of $1,250 per semester. The total student participation fee amounts to $5,000 in total. A fellow’s contribution may come from an AmeriCorps education voucher, a Peace Corps readjustment allowance, or similar grant.
Eligibility
- To qualify, applicants must meet the admission requirements of the Marquette University Graduate School or Graduate School of Management program of choice.
- Applicants, please note: it is important that you review the Graduate Bulletin in order to obtain more information about the graduate school, admission requirements, and course offerings for your program of choice.
- The Trinity Fellows deadline of January 15 supercedes the application deadline set by your Marquette University graduate program of choice.

- Completion of the Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Lutheran Volunteer Corps, Teach for America, or other comparable full-time service commitment is also required OR
- 2+ years of full-time employment with a nonprofit organization
- Applicants may apply while still active in full-time service or work, as long as the service commitment is completed by the time the fellowship term begins.

- Your Graduate School/Graduate School of Management application will ask if you are applying to the Trinity Fellows Program. Click YES. By selecting yes, you will be prompted to complete the Trinity Fellows application requirements as part of your application.

- Four in total – two services/professional related letters and two academic letters
- These same letters may also be used to satisfy the letter of recommendation requirements of your academic program and need only be submitted once. Follow the submission guidelines given in your Graduate School/Graduate School of Management application.
