The Hertie School of Governance in Germany is inviting applicants for a fully funded Phd scholarship for the 2019/2020 academic session.
It offers rigorous academic training and familiarises students with cutting-edge methods in public policy research. The programme addresses exceptional candidates committed to research on public policy related research questions. It is interdisciplinary, but offers a specialisation within economics, law, political science, and sociology.
Many projects are designed to engage directly with the public and private sectors and civil society. Faculty publish in leading international journals, contribute to academic and policy conferences, and are regularly asked for their expertise by government and media.
Worth of Award
The programme is fully funded (10 three-year stipends).
Students working in the following areas are particularly encouraged to apply:
