University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in USA invites applications for the Global Excellence Scholarships (Merit-based awards given at admission to undergraduate students only) for the 2018/2019 academic year.

All international freshmen and transfer students who are admitted to the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities are considered for a Global Excellence Scholarship (GES). These scholarships cover either the full difference or half the difference between resident and non-resident tuition rates.

Awards are competitive and based on academic merit. Students selected for the GES awards are among the best in their high school class and show a record of very strong academic preparation.

Global Excellence Scholarship awards are contingent upon maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
