The University of Waikato in New Zealand invites applications for the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union Doctoral Scholarship open to students intending to enrol in full-time doctoral research in the Faculty of Health, Sport & Human Performance at the UoW Adams Centre for High Performance based in Tauranga in 2018.

To apply for this scholarship, you must provide all of the information requested in the application form by the closing date. This may include a birth certificate, NCEA school results or a verified copy of your academic transcripts from any other education provider. Fill out the application form and submit it. If you are filling out a paper application, follow the instructions for mailing it to them.

Worth of Award

A stipend of up to $15,000 per annum + domestic tuition fees for up to 3 years

Eligibility

  • For students intending to enrol in full-time doctoral research in the Faculty of Health, Sport & Human Performance at the UoW Adams Centre for High Performance based in Tauranga in 2018.
  • Applicants must demonstrate how their intended research will align with supporting the development of rugby athlete performance.
  • Selection Process: This process typically takes at least six to eight weeks after the closing date. You will receive an electronic notification when your application has been processed and when a decision has been reached by the selection panel.
