INSEAD invites applications for the INSEAD Andrew Hordern Endowed Scholarship – ’91D for the 2018 academic year. The Class of ’91D has generously provided an endowed MBA scholarship in the name of their classmate Andrew Hordern who has been handicapped for life through illness.
Andrew’s family and friends also contributed to this scholarship when they celebrated his 40th birthday in 2005. The scholarship will assist MBA participants whose profiles best represent the diversity sought to strengthen the school’s talent base.
Worth of Award
- Candidates who do not have traditional MBA backgrounds e.g. performing artists, journalists, architects, medical practitioners, military, lawyers, research scientists, not-for-profit, etc.
- Emphasis will be given to highly qualified candidates with financial need.
Essay topic :
1).In approximately 350 words demonstrate why you believe your background is unusual, non-traditional or different and why you merit a scholarship for non-traditional backgrounds.
2).Provide a concise but accurate description of your financial circumstances as well as a cash flow forecast for the year at INSEAD (details of income set against all expenditures). Explain how you expect to finance your studies if you do not obtain a scholarship or financial aid from INSEAD. (approximately 150-200 words)
