St Cross College, University of Oxford in the UK invites applications for the HAPP MPhil Scholarship in the History of Science from students who will begin studying at the University in 2018 for an MPhil in History of Science, Medicine and Technology.
Applicants must list St Cross College as their first choice college on their Graduate Admissions application in order to be eligible to apply for this Scholarship – preference will be given to candidates with an interest in the history of physics for their MPhil dissertation topic.
The Scholarship is tenable at St Cross College only.

Worth of Award

  • The Scholarship has a value of £10,000 per annum to cover the annual College fee (£3,021 for 2017-2018) and an annual stipend and is tenable for two years coterminous with College fee liability.
  • The successful scholar will be guaranteed to have a room in College accommodation (at the standard rent) for the first year of their course
