Cambridge University is inviting prospective PhD candidates to apply for the fully-funded Mountbatten Cambridge International Scholarship for the 2018/2019 academic session at Christ’s College, Cambridge university. The funding partners are Christ’s College and Sir Ernest Cassel Educational Trust.
The College works with the Cambridge Trust and the Sir Ernest Cassel Educational Trust to offer the Mountbatten Cambridge International Scholarship, which is available to PhD applicants from Commonwealth countries.
The Sir Ernest Cassel Educational Trust is a grant-giving organization working in the fields of higher and adult education.  It supports students from Commonwealth countries who are studying in the UK, post-doctoral researchers who wish to undertake research overseas, and many educational organisations in the UK.
Priority will be given to candidates from developing countries who show intent to use their studies to contribute to the further advancement of their home region or country.
Worth of Award

  • University tuition fee
  • Annual stipend (sufficient for a single person)

Eligibility

  • This scholarship is available to PhD candidates from Commonwealth countries, in any subject.
  • Priority will be given to candidates from developing countries who show intent to use their studies to contribute to the further advancement of their home region or country.
  • Applicants should require financial assistance in order to study at the University of Cambridge.
  • Successful candidates should have been selected to receive a Cambridge International Scholarship, and be offered a place at Christ’s College.
  • Priority will be given to candidates from developing countries who show intent to use their studies to contribute to the further advancement of their home region or country.

Deadline: If you are applying for graduate study, please check and apply by the specific course deadline.  Some deadlines are as early as mid-November (LLM Law) and there will be two general course deadlines of 6 December 2017 and 4 January 2018.
