ICFO invites applications for a PhD-fellowship for highly motivated candidates who wish to enhance their scientific career in the field of Advanced imaging techniques: Multilevel Bioimaging, Analysis and Modelling of Vertebrate Development and Disease, and obtain a doctoral degree.
This proposal sprang from European scientists in both academia and industry who identified a common challenge: setting up a training frame to educate the next generation of images in complex biological systems (healthy & pathological). The long-term goal is reaching a cellular or sub-cellular resolution in complete vertebrate embryos.
As an institution, ICFO strives to be a resource for science, technology and talent and to provide ICFO researchers with unique skills to become successful and independent future leaders, both in the academic and industrial worlds.
