This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic group whose primary focus is working on antennas, microwave, and millimeter wave engineering for LTE and fifth generation (5G) wireless communications.

Worth of Award
The studentship is an industrial iCASE award that covers full UK/EU (EU applicants who have been resident in the UK for 3 years prior to application) Ph.D. tuition fees and a tax-free stipend at the current RCUK rate (£15000 in 2016/17). EU nationals resident in the EU may also apply and will qualify only for Ph.D. tuition fees only.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following guidelines
- Students with a 2.1 or first class degree in electronic engineering, physics, mathematics or similar numerate discipline will be considered for a studentship.
- Basic skills and knowledge in wireless communications are essential.
