The University of Queensland calls for applications for scholarships for international students at the TC Beirne School of Law available to students enrolled or enrolling full-time in the Master of Laws (LLM) or Master of International Law (MICLaw) programs.

Scholarships are available for students enrolled or enrolling full-time in the Master of Laws (LLM) or Master of International Law (MICLaw) programs. Scholarships are awarded in the field of law.
Worth of Award

  • The scholarship will take the form of monetary assistance to help with living expenses for 12 months and will be paid in two instalments – one during semester 1 and one during Semester 2.

Eligibility

  • Scholarships will provide assistance to overseas students enrolled or enrolling full-time in the Master of Laws (LLM) or Master of International Law (MICLaw) programs.
  •  International students can apply for these scholarships.
  • Any offer of a scholarship is made subject to approval of the candidate’s enrolment in a Master of Laws, Master of International Commercial Law, or Master of International Law program at The University of Queensland, ie scholarship applicants MUST have completed an application and have received an unconditional offer from The University of Queensland before applying for a scholarship. A copy of the offer letter must be attached to the scholarship application.
  • Applicants will be assessed on the following criteria:
    1. Academic merit
    2. Significant financial need
    3. Express interest in the study of law, with a view to using that study in some future occupation
    4. Proposed budget
