The Institute of Hazard, Risk and Resilience (IHRR), in conjunction with Collingwood College invites applications for risk masters scholarship at Durham University for international students.
Durham University accepts IELTS, TOEFL iBT, Cambridge Proficiency (CPE), Cambridge Advanced (CAE) and the Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic as preferred English Language proficiency tests.
Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing taught master’s degree programmes.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the field of MA Risk and MSc Risk.
Worth of Award: This scholarship is designed to cover full tuition fees as well as a stipend and other financial support, up to a total value of £29,347.
-£15,700 – Payment of International tuition fees
-£11,500 – maintenance allowance paid as a termly stipend
-£600 – arrival allowance
-£1,000 – one return flight to the UK which will be reimbursed upon receipt of flight documents
-£547 – allocation to cover visa expenses and NHS health charge.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for this Scholarship:-
-Fees status: International
-Level of Study: Taught Master’s Degree programmes
-Mode of study: Full time
-Year of Entry: Applicants for programmes commencing in 2016/17.

-Their education and qualifications already achieved and details of any qualifications that they are currently studying for, if applicable
-The names and addresses of two academic referees
-A Personal Statement
-Supporting documents (for example, degree certificates / transcripts, English Language evidence if they are not a native English speaker, CV, samples of academic work).
