There are high entrance requirements for masters degree programmes at Sheffield which reflects the quality of the university. Applicants may be required to take an internationally recognized English language test such as IELTS.
Worth of Award: Each scholarship is worth 50% of the annual postgraduate tuition fee. The scholarships will take the form of a fee reduction.
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the supporting statement. The final decision will be made by an academic panel. To be eligible for the scholarship:
-Students must be classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes, plus be a national of, or permanently domiciled in one of the countries.
-This scholarship is available for students starting their postgraduate taught masters degree in any faculty at the University in September 2016.

How to Apply
- All students who are eligible for a scholarship and have accepted their offer before the closing date will be automatically considered.
- If students wish to be considered for this scholarship they need to apply online, the application link will be distributed to eligible students by email from January onwards. Applicants cannot apply for the scholarship before being offered a study place at Sheffield.
