University of Wollongong Dubai calls for applications for the postgraduate academic excellence scholarship for international students, available for pursuing postgraduate programme.
Applicants for a postgraduate degree must have completed a Bachelor degree (or equivalent) at an accredited institution of higher education. All instruction at UOWD is carried out in English and student will need to demonstrate an adequate level of English language proficiency in order to enroll on a programme at the university.
Worth of Award
Scholarship covers 15% to 25% of tuition fees each semester. The scholarship does not include textbooks, excursions, accommodation, living expenses or any other costs involved in undertaking study.
Eligible Study Subject: Scholarships are offered in diverse fields to help students in upgrading their education.
List of subjects: Master of Business Administration, Master of International Business, Master of Quality Management, Master of Strategic Marketing, Master of Strategic Human Resource Management, Master of Science in Logistics, Master of Applied Finance, Master of Engineering Management, Master of Information Technology Management, Master of Media and Communications and Master of International Studies
Applicants must meet the following guidelines:
-Applications are open to students of any citizenship.
-Applications are open to new (entry level) students only who will be undertaking full time study.
-Applicants must have achieved the minimum grades as listed by the university
-Applicants must meet all of the academic and admission criteria to be admitted to the university and be intending to enroll in the relevant session for which they have applied.
How to Apply
- College Admission Requirement: Applicants for a postgraduate degree must have completed a bachelor degree (or equivalent) at an accredited institution of higher education and have achieved the minimum grades, as well as any specific course-related requirements.
- English Language Requirement: All instruction at UOWD is carried out in English and student will need to demonstrate an adequate level of English language proficiency in order to enroll on a programme at the university.
- Supporting Material: Please submit certified copies of academic records and evidence of completion of all qualifications, including English language test results. Documents not in English must be officially translated. The following documents must be submitted with your application. Incomplete applications cannot be processed and will delay the assessment of your application.
-Academic transcripts and completion certificates with English translations.
-English language test results.
-List of research publications (maximum 2 pages)
-Curriculum Vitae (maximum 4 pages)
-Evidence of industry experience (optional)
-Evidence of citizenship
How to Apply
If students would like to apply for any of the UOWD scholarships, they should submit an application for scholarship form, along with supporting documentation relevant to their chosen scholarship (academic transcripts, completion certificate(s), awards, referee reports, alumni ID, as appropriate) to the Registrar’s Department. Applications must be received by the closing date for current students and submitted via the scholarship form.
