The Conservation Leadership Programme Team Awards opens for applications for the 2015 awards. This partnership initiative, including BirdLife International, Fauna & Flora International and Wildlife Conservation Society, has been helping young conservationists to achieve their goals and move into positions of influence within the conservation sector for 30 years.
Worth of Award

  • The 2015 awards consist of three levels:
  • Future Conservationist Awards (up to US $12,500 each),
  • Conservation Follow-up Awards(up to US $20,000 each) which are available only to previous CLP Future Conservationist Award winners and
  • one Conservation Leadership Award (up to US $40,000) which is the highest award, available to teams who have reported on their Follow-up Award project.

Eligibility
In 2015 CLP will ONLY accept proposals for projects to be implemented in one of the following 22 countries: Algeria, Angola, Azerbaijan, Brazil, China, Egypt, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Mexico, Mozambique, Oman, South Africa, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, UAE and Vietnam.

Deadline

The 2015 application deadline is 00.00hrs GMT on Monday 23 February. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit a draft of their proposal at least two weeks before the deadline so they can provide feedback prior to final submission.
