Eldred-Waverley opens applications for scholarship at Linacre College, University of Oxford 2014/15. Eldred-Waverley Scholarship at Linacre College was established in 2012. It funds students from sub-Saharan Africa to study MSc African Studies at Oxford.
Worth of Award:

  • The scholarship will cover 100% of University and college fees,
  • a grant for living costs (of at least £10,397) and
  • a return flight from your home country to UK.
  • Awards are made for the full duration of your fee liability for the agreed course.

Linacre College, University of Oxford. UK

  • You should be applying to start the MSc African Studies at Oxford and you must be ordinarily resident in sub-Saharan Africa.
  • You should be intending to return to your country of ordinary residence once your course is completed.
  • Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit.
  • This scholarship is only tenable atLinacre College.
  • All eligible applicants will be considered for this scholarship, regardless of which college (if any) you state as your preference on the graduate application form. However, successful applicants will be transferred to Linacre College in order to take up the scholarship.
  • Please ensure that you meet the selection criteria for your course.
  • This scholarship is not open to applications from candidates who hold deferred offers to start in 2015-16.

  • If you do not apply as detailed above by the deadline, you will not be considered for this scholarship.
